How Cross-Chain Deposits Work
When you deposit from a non-Base chain, Spawn handles the cross-chain transfer automatically in the background. The flow from your perspective:
- Initiate a deposit from your origin chain
- The funds move to Base - near-instantly, without any manual bridging step on your end
- Once confirmed, your balance is credited and immediately available to trade
You remain in control throughout. Deposits are non-custodial - funds move on-chain, not through Spawn.
Discovery Is Already Chainless
Cross-chain deposits are the practical layer under Spawn's chainless discovery model. A participant on any supported chain can discover a token on Spawn and enter the market without friction. The access layer matches the discovery layer - there's no ecosystem lock-in to overcome.
What Doesn't Change
Regardless of which chain you deposit from, the Spawn experience is identical. The same gasless trading, the same bonding curve mechanics, the same fair execution environment. Chain of origin doesn't affect your position in the market.
